When the Department of Education announced the reopening of classes a lot of teachers and parents alike found it hard to shift to online learning. The pandemic has taken a hard blow on thousands of livelihoods and additional expenses such as internet connection and gadgets to continue education were an additional burden to parents. Due to this, a lot of teachers and schools opted for module-based learning; however, with the considerable number of modules to be reproduced, teachers and schools are also struggling to find resources for it.
With the hope to contribute to this, Embrace through its NGO partner Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc., provided reams of bond papers to several districts in the country namely Iloilo, Palawan, Agusan del Norte, Cagayan Valley, and Pangasinan. A point person from Palawan said that they were able to distribute the bond papers to different schools in the municipality of Narra. “Thank you very much. Together we can provide learning materials for the youth. This is also in line with the campaign of schools and teachers from all over the country, ”Bond Paper Mo, Module Ko.”
An estimate of 8,000 reams has been given to recipients.
