To date, ten (10) Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machines have been provided to various hospitals in the country to help increase the COVID-19 testing capacity of hospitals. Embrace through Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc. (JVOFI) donated these PCR machines to UP National Institute of Health (UP-NIH Amai Pakpak Medical Center (APMC), Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC), Doña Maria D Tan Memorial Hospital (DMDTMH), Dr. Paulino J Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center (DRPJGMRMC), Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC), and  Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC).

Assistant to the Medical Center Chief of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Mr. Pierre Jabagat, said they are very grateful to Embrace and JVOFI for their support in providing help to their patients, especially those who are in critical condition. He added that since cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in the city, the equipment is very much needed; but he also wished that these should not be used further, especially the ventilators, as they hoped that there are no more critical patients.
