Efforts are continuing to reach less privileged Filipinos as residents in Taguig received food packs from EMBRACE program last February 16, 2019.
The goods were delivered through the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc. to the members of Villa Mendiola Villegas Neighbourhood Association, an organization of low-income residents of Taguig and a part of the city’s programs for the urban poor.
Jose Noel Perez, the association’s president expressed his gratitude for the goods they received. “In behalf of all the members and officers of the Villa Mendiola Villegas Neighborhood Association, I would like to say thank you. It is really a great help to us. Sana magpatuloy ang pagtulong ninyo sa mga katulad nangangailangan, (May you continue your efforts in helping people in need like us)”
The distribution of food packs is contributory to the fulfillment of the 2nd and 17th United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Zero Hunger and Partnership for the Goals.
