JAIME V. ONGPIN FOUNDATION, INC. RENEWS DSWD ACCREDITATION

Last September 17, 2018, Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation received its renewed Registration, License and Accreditation from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
 
These were issued after an on-site assessment of representatives from DWSD – Central office and DSWD-CAR in JVOFI’s Baguio Office last July 05-06, 2018.

The evaluators stated that JVOFI had passed the assessment for the accreditation of the agency’s community-based programs and services providing livelihood activities, scholarships, capacity building, environmental protection and disaster preparedness in the Cordillera Region.

The accreditation is valid for another three years. JVOFI has been consistently renewing its DSWD and PCNC certification to meet various donors and government standards for continued service to the community.

Last December 11, 2017, Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc. also received its 5-year Certificate of Accreditation from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification. This certificate is required for the granting of donee status by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
