A community planning and validation workshop was held in Barangay Ilijan, Bataan on February 8, 2022, for the preparation of a Social Development Plan. It was facilitated by JVOFI’s research team and participated by sectoral representatives of Barangay Ilijan and stakeholders from the Batangas City LGU.
This is the second step after the initial data gathering using surveys, focused group discussions, and secondary data. Projects proposed by the sectoral representatives were discussed and the LGU and national government agency representatives shared their recommendations to the community and responded to their concerns.
